Debra Baker Salters, 52, of Phil Campbell, Ala. passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at Russellville Hospital after a heroic battle with cancer.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 at Philadelphia Deleverance Tabernacle in Lynn, Ala. with Bro. John Autry officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
Pallbearers were Richard Autry, Dan Podmore, Chris Saylor, Drake Kimbrough, Rodney Bray, Josh Quinn, and Rickey Gable.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Salters; and mother, Elsie Evans Townsend.
She is survived by her loving husband, James Salters; daughters, Daphne Poague and husband, Chris, Cassandra James and husband, Anthony; sisters, Nell Saylor, Sandra Williams; brothers, Brian Baker, Edward Townsend, Jack Baker, Ronnie Townsend; grandchild, Justin Bradley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
