Jane Chamblee, 74, of Hodges, Ala. passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011 at Red Bay Hospital.  She was born Sept. 30, 1936 in Alabama to L.H. and Nellie Brewer Sanders.  She was an employee of Blue Bell, a member of Hodges Missionary Baptist Church and she loved her dog, Sally.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. Marty Guidrey officiating.  Burial was in Antioch Cemetery in Bear Creek, Ala.

She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Gibson and husband, Bob, of Hamilton; son, Mike Chamblee and wife, Laura, of Hodges; three sisters, Dorothy Allen, of Rome, Ga., Mattie Lou Scott and husband, Oneal, of Trinity, Ala., Juanita Jackson and husband, Aubrey, of Russellville; one brother, Tommy Sanders and wife, Carol, of Russellville; five grandchildren, Melissa Shotts and husband, Brandy, Aimee Gibson and Rebecca Gibson, all of Hamilton, Ala., Jeremy Chamblee and wife, Barbara, of Hodges, and Thomas Chamblee and wife, Cassondra, of Vina; four great-grandchildren, Marley Chamblee, Colton Chamblee, Megan Parker and Braden Parker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Edward Chamblee; her parents; and two sisters, Etta Faye Odom and Helen Sanders.

Pallbearers were Bobby Ozbirn, Wendel Williford, Thomas Chamblee, Trent Danley, Brandy Shotts and Brian Scott.
