William Daniel Johnson, 56, of Russellville, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at ECM Hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 17, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Interment was in Spruce Pine Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by father, J.C. Johnson; and mother, Ruby Hargett Johnson.

He is survived by his son, William Daniel Johnson, Jr.; daughter, Cherelle Robinson; brothers, Gary Johnson and wife, Elaine, J.C. Sonny Johnson “Bo” and wife, Tammy; sisters, Carolyn Lindley, Jennifer Hacker; niece, Kasey Fisher Maddox and husband, Timothy; great-nieces, Harlee Fisher, Haylee Fisher; other special nieces and nephews; many friends; and one favorite friend, “Rebel”.
