Dessie Faye Hamby, 80, of Haleyville, Ala. passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010 at Lakeland Community Hospital.  She was retired from Haleyville Textile and a member of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Sherman Kimbrough officiating.  Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery. 

She is survived by daughters, Shirley Farris and Diann Caldwell; son, Frank Tittle; brothers, James and Billy Joe Postell; grandchildren, Dean Bradford, Cheryl Dodd, Eddie Beck, April Harris and Chris Tittle; great-grandchildren, Danya Bradford, Austin Beck, Cooper Beck, Noah Harris, Trey Harris and Christopher Tittle.

She is preceded in death by parents, Joe and Ruby Lillie Postell; brothers, Walter, John D., Olivet, Travis and Jessie Ray Postell.
