Carolyn Curlee Head, 84, of Brilliant, Ala. passed away Dec. 7, 2010.  She was born June 17, 1926.  She was a member of the Brock Church of Christ.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville, Ala. with Roger Hubbert and Vance Hutton officiating.  Burial was in Brock Church of Christ Cemetery in Brilliant, Ala.

She is survived by her children, W.C. Head and wife, Norma Jean, and Cathy Pratt and husband, Bobby; sister, Bobbie Anthony and husband, Dexter; brothers, O’Neal Sartin and wife, Eardean, and Billy Sartin and wife, Dean; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nine nieces; and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Verda Sartin; husband, John Curtis Head; and son, L.D. Head.
