Willodean May Seal, 85, of Avon Lake, Ohio, passed away on Nov. 13, 2010 in Ohio.

Willodean was born May 18, 1925, in Phil Campbell.  She was the daughter of Otho and Kate May and was raised in Franklin County. She married Franklin Seal on March 29, 1946 and was a long time resident of Sheffield Lake in Ohio where she was an active member of the United Church of Christ. She also volunteered for many years with the Meals on Wheels, the Ohio Extended Care Nursing Home and at the Sheffield Lake Community Center. She enjoyed time with her family and quilting.

Willodean was the wife of the late Franklin H. Seal who died in 1993. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gibson and husband, Randle, of Cleveland; her son, Donald Seal and wife, Betty, of Columbus, Ohio; her daughter, Sandra Castle and husband, John, of Medina, Ohio; her daughter, Paula McCauley and husband, Gary, of Seven Hills, Ohio; her grandchildren, Melanie (Jamie) and Heather Seal; Katie Cramer (Bradley); Jonathan and Paul Castle; Natalie and Matthew McCauley; and her great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Annabella and Phoebe.

Local survivors include her brother, Robert May and wife, Jean, of Russellville; her sister, Olene Seal, of Russellville; her sister, Kathryn Rhoden and husband, Joe, of Muscle Shoals; and her sister Martha Kilbourn and husband, Dale, of Clinton, Miss.
