Edward “Bud” Creekmore, 72, of Red Bay died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 7, 1938 in Franklin County, Ala. to Elvin and Beatrice Holland Creekmore. He was retired from Sunshine Homes.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 23, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. W.D. Humphries officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, David Creekmore wife, Pam, of Tupelo, Miss. and Michael Creekmore and wife, Whitney, of Cleveland, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Alexandria Creekmore, Madison Creekmore, Chloe Creekmore and Reese Creekmore; four sisters, Evonne Sartain and husband, Carl, of Fulton, Miss., Bobbie Petty and husband, Ezell, of Golden, Miss., Elsie Singleton, of Vina, Ala. and Icy Parker and husband, Gary, of Red Bay, Ala.; three brothers, Carlos Creekmore and wife, Pam and Danny Creekmore and wife, Gail, all of Vina, Ala. and Larry Creekmore and wife, Cynthia, of Red Bay, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thurman Creekmore and Herman Creekmore; and one sister, Betty Sue Stanphill.
