Ferrell and Rose Mary Williams of Rose Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Farrah Michelle, to Owen "Scotty" Anderson Scott Jr., son of Owen and Dorthen Scott Sr. of Lafayette, La.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at 6 p.m. at Ash-Leah Manor in Hattiesburg.
Miss Williams is the granddaughter of Earline and Carlton Walters, the late Robert Rayner of Louin, Virginia Williams of Rose Hill and the late Cecil Williams.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School. She attended Jones County Junior College and the University of Southern Mississippi. She is currently pursuing a nursing degree at Pearl River Community College.
Mr. Scott is the grandson of the late Ethel and Roger Lee of Picayune, and Nellie Scott of Paris, Texas.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Episcopal School of Acadianna and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He is currently pursuing a a degree in nursing at Pearl River Community College. Then he plans to earn his certified registered nurse anesthetist licenser.
A reception will be held in the formal dining room of Ash-Leah Manor following the ceremony.
