Goodin, Carlisle

Amy Catherine Carlisle of Bay Springs and Danny Lamar Goodin Jr. of Lauderdale were married Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Lake Como Baptist Church in Bay Springs. The Rev. Ben Carlisle performed the double-ring candlelight ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Billy W. Carlisle of Bay Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Smith of Lauderdale and the late Danny L. Goodin Sr.
Grandparents of the bride are Winnie Johnson Carlisle of Pascagoula and the late Jack C. Carlisle and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lamar Weldy of Bay Springs.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Laura Mae Brown of Bailey and the late Oliver Brown, Frankie Smith of Meridian and the late Joe Smith, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Prentiss Goodin.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Amy Pence, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a designer gown of white floor-length satin with a scooped neckline, empire waistline and short fitted sleeves. The bodice was embellished with tiny opaque sequins and pearls and featured small satin covered buttons down the back. The full skirt flowed into a cathedral-length train. Her veil of double-layered illusion was anchored by a tiara of rhinestones and seed pearls.
Attendant the bride were Codi Carlisle Campbell, Kaci Knotts, and Melissa Biggers York, all of Bay Springs, Cortnee Carlisle Mitchell of Sandersville, and Lynn Upton Byrd of Laurel.
Caitlin Conerly of Bay Springs, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Groomsmen were Bryan Smith of Lauderdale, Brett Manning and Bo Smith, both of Meridian, Denton Knight and Brian Sanford, both of Seminary. Ushers were Shannon Conerly of Bay Springs and Cory Williamson of Seminary.
Dylan Conerly of Bay Springs, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.
Rice bag attendants were Victoria Conerly, Kaitlin Hollister and Jerra Smith.
On the eve of the wedding,the bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the church fellowship hall.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Diana Montgomery, Stephanie Thornton Sullivan, Jessica Smith, Lisa Eaves, Brooke Deese and Carrie Moore Harris.
After a honeymoon to Orlando, Daytona and the Bahamas, the couple resides in Bay Springs.
