Paternal grandparents are Jerrel and Norma Davis of Meridian.
Maternal grandparents are Marcus and Martha Finch of Union.
Mrs. Davis is the former Melanie Finch.
Shalanda Harrington and Willie Houston of Preston announce the birth of a daughter, Ebony Lashay Houston, on Sept. 16, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Anquenetta Moore and Harold Clark of Meridian announce the birth of a son, Xsavaion Ty'Reek Clark, on Sept. 16, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Aletha Shaw of Philadelphia announces the birth of a son, Zachary Wade Shaw, on Sept. 18, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Ashley Dearing of Philadelphia announces the birth of a son, Steven Zander Kirkland, on Sept. 18, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.

Mrs. Jones is the former Christine McCollom.
