    Survivors include two sons, Harold Shelby and his wife, Janet, of Brandon and Mike Shelby and his wife, Debra, of Pearl; a brother, Evan Shelby of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sisters, Maxine Flume of Brandon and Nan Glacier of Gulfport; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Newton.
    Rebekah Jack
    Retired educator
    Services for Rebekah Jack will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Hope Methodist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Wayne Bass officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Jack, 98, of Kemper County, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in Neshoba County.
    Survivors include several nieces and cousins.
    She was preceded in death by her parents.
    Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
    Dorothy Marie Boyd
    Insurance agent
    Services for Dorothy Marie Boyd will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at East Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Meridian with the Rev. Randall Bohannon officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home of DeKalb in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Boyd, 76, of Meridian, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include four daughters, Patricia "Pat" Bell and her husband, Gene, of Vicksburg, Tina Ruby Curtis and her husband, Maurice, of Calument City, Ill., Dorothy "Dot" R. Boyd of Meridian and Barbara Parks and her husband, Charles, of Garfield Heights, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several cousins, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter.
    Visitation will be Friday 3 p.m.-8 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.
    Jimmy T. Johnson
    Self-employed, farmer
    Services for Jimmy T. Johnson will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Cleveland Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Johnson, 89, of Collinsville, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include his daughters, Mary Windam and her husband, Johnnie, of Collinsville, Virgie Hollis and her husband, Robert, of Rolelette, Texas, Lucille Galele of Stone Mountain, Ga., Cherryl JoAnn Green and her husband, Homer, of Broadview, Ill., and Areceda Walker and her husband, James, of Buckley, Ill.; sisters, Mary Frances Presley of Washington, D.C. and Bernice Pruitt of The Bronx, N.Y.; 26 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
    Marvel Wilson
    Retired employee of Peavey Electronics
    Services for Marvel Wilson will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Wilson, 77, of Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, in his home.
    Survivors include his wife, Dorothy E. Wilson of Meridian; four daughters, Cheryl Wilson, Bernice Wilson, Carla Wilson Green and Melba Wilson Law; two sons, Marvel Wilson Jr. and Daryl Wilson, all of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Elner Williams; a brother, Simpson Wilson, of Cleveland, Ohio; a step-daughter, Barbara Ann Emerson of Meridian; two step-sons, Benny Dubose and Ray Dubose of Meridian; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Visitation will be Friday 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Richard "Ray G" Bohannon
    Factory worker
    DEKALB Services from Richard "Ray G" Bohannon will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. John Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Bohannon, 26, of DeKalb, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include his mother, Annie J. Bohannon of DeKalb; four sisters, Contina Odom and Angela Bohannon, both of DeKalb, Linda Nunn of Preston and Camela Grady of Meridian; three brothers, Kendrick Odom and his wife, Helen, of Macon, Terry Bohannon and his wife, Teleshia, of Porterville, and Richard Nunn of Preston; a grandmother, Everlean Nunn of New Orleans; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
    Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Doris Dubose Hurst
    Retired from Maywebb Hosiery
    Graveside services for Doris Dubose Hurst were held Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Stephens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Hurst, 91, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare Center. She was a native of Lufkin, Texas and was a longtime member of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church, where she served as church pianist for many years.
    Survivors include her daughters, Lanell Hurst Jones of Fort Collins, Colo., Eloise Hurst Fleming and her husband, Bobby, and Kathleen Hurst Anderson, all of Meridian; grandsons, Michol G. Hurst, Michael S. Fleming, Richard A. Fleming, Stephen H. Jones; granddaughters, Jeanette H. Armstrong, Lissa J. Johnson, Karen A. Joyner, Cynthia Anderson, Angela Deen, and Suzanne Fleming; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Hurst; a son, Richard G. Hurst; parents, W.T. and Mary Della Dubose; one sister, and four brothers.

    Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Elizabeth Morgan of Meridian, who died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    James H. Snowden
    Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for James H. Snowden, 86, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas.
