Randall receives 4-H distinguished service award

Beth Randall, county director of 4-H with the Mississippi State University Extension in Lauderdale County, recently attended the National Association of 4-H Agents Conference.
Randall was among youth professionals from across the nation to participate in the conference Oct. 26-31 in Norfolk, Va.
Each year the National Association of Extension 4-H agents recognizes a member for extension work presenting awards for outstanding accomplishments in achievement, leadership and communication.
This year Randall was honored with the Distinguished Service Award which was presented during the annual recognition banquet.
Randall was one of the 1,200 professional youth workers from all 50 states and Puerto Rico who attended the association conference. Hosted by the Virginia Association of Extension Agents, the 55th annual conference was Randall's seventh conference experience.
The conference theme was "Charting the Way: 100 Years &Beyond" as 4-H celebrates it's 100th Anniversary. Participants attended seminars, workshops and research presentations.
