The Meridian Public School Board could discuss a case Monday in which special education teacher assistant Linda Hood is charged with simple assault on a minor for biting a 4-year-old boy.
Both Hood and the boy's teacher, Betty Linton, were removed from the classroom after the Oct. 9 incident.
Board attorney John Compton originally said the issue had been scheduled for discussion at a special board meeting on Friday. That meeting didn't take place.
Board members are expected to meet in a work session at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the school district central office, 1019 25th Ave.
