Roy D. Langley, age 69, of Phil Campbell, died June 17, 2007. He is survived by his wife Dessie Langley of Phil Campbell, son, Bruce Langley and wife Stella of LaGrange; daughter, Tina Wilbanks and husband, Larry, of Russellville; sisters, Hazel Miller and husband, Dan, of Ohatchee, AL, and Wanda Browning and husband, Bob, of Gadsden; brothers, Clayton Benefield and wife, Paula, of Haleyville, and Steve Benefield and wife, Teresa, of Haleyville; grandchildren, Leslie Melina Langley of Lagrange, Roy Bruce Langley of Muscle Shoals; and great-grandchild, Austin Nathanel Fisher of Muscle Shoals.
Langley was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Preston Langley; mother, Vera Watts Benefield, and brothers A.J. Langley of Munford, AL and Edward Langley of Bear Creek.
The family will have a private service at a later date. Akins Funeral Home in Russellville assisted the family..
Bobby "Bob" Taylor

Bobby "Bob" Taylor, age 76, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007. Visitation will be held Friday, June 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Philip Farris will officiate the service. Interment will be in Mt. Home Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Lora Crawford Taylor; parents, Eugene and Mattie Devaney Taylor; sister, Martha Baird; brothers, Elmer, Earl, Jim, Bill and Lil' Archie Taylor.
He is survived by wife, Mattie Ross Malone Taylor; sons, Steven B. Taylor of Sheffield, Jerry Pace and wife, Bonita, of Russellville, Steve Pace and wife, Pat, of Russellville; grandduaghters, Sheree Holt and husband, Paul, Christa Martin and husband, Michael; great grandsons that were his pride and joy, Vance Martin, Chance and Pace Holt; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Mt. Home Presbyterian Church, member of Love's Park Masonic Lodge, Rockford, III, VFW and IsbellWater Board Authority. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the U.S. Army 40th Infantry Division. He retired from Woodard Governor Company, Rockford, Ill. after 39 years service where he help build fuel controls for jet aircraft.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Home Cemetery Fund. The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to Hospice of the Shoals for their wonderful care and support during Bob's illness.

Larry David Renfrow, Sr.

Larry David Renfrow, Sr., age 52, of Natchez, Miss., passed away June 18, 2007 at the National Community Hospital in Natchez. He was born on April 28, 1955 in Miami, Fla. to William Ray and Audrey Mae Jacobs Renfrow, who preceded him in death. He was formerly a resident of Vina.
He is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Jean Adams and husband, Gary, of West Monre, La.; two sons, Will Robert Renfrow and Larry David Renfrow, Jr., both of West Monroe, La.; four sisters, Gayle Scott, Yvonne Holmes and Gina Campbell, of Natchez, and Vickie Riendeau of Houston, Tex.; two brothers, Danny Renfrow of Red Bay, and Gary Renfrow of Natchez; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Pilot Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Renfrow, Kelly Renfrow, Phillip Renfrow, Chad Campbell, Mark Jacobs and David Jacobs.
Deaton Funeral Homes of Red Bay assisted the family.
