Nello Howard

Nello Howard, age 92, Russellville, passed away March 26 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Howard was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Franklin County to Robert T.L. and Lottie Bolton Howard.   He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Belgreen Church of Christ and was retired from Nichols Aluminum. He loved his children and his grandchildren, and they loved him. He was always ready to help anyone who needed help. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed by all.

The visitation was from 6-9 p.m. March 27 at Spry Memorial Chapel. A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. March 28 at Franklin Memory Gardens with Bro. Jackie Richardson officiating.

He was preceded in death by wife, Floreen Rikard Howard; son, Marty Howard; parents, Robert T.L. Howard and Lottie Bolton Howard; sisters, Marie Miller and Margaret Hester; and brothers, Levon Howard, Ollis Howard and Clovis Howard.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Betty Vincent and husband Ralph and Brenda King and husband Donald; daughter-in-law, Lisa Howard Hovater; grandchildren, Chad Vincent, Chasity Vincent Parker, Amber King Willis, Nicholas Howard, Skylar King and Jada Howard Pennington; great-grandchildren, Nathan Vincent, Taylor Vincent, Caden Parker, Maddux Parker, Hudsen Parker, Case Howard and Lottie Pennington; brothers, Arnell Howard, Delon Howard and Thomas Howard; sister, Barbara Howard; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers were Nicholas Howard, Skylar King, Chad Vincent, Nathan Vincent, Aaron Pennington and Lance Howard.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Terrace Manor Nursing Home, as well as to Dr. Kevin Kelly and his staff, for the love and care of the family.
