Frankie Lou Melton

Frankie Lou Melton, age 83, Russellville, passed away on March 15 at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Melton was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. March 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. March 19 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Jim Lumpkin. Burial will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Thomas N. Melton; grandsons, Michael Vandiver and wife Kimberly, Phillip Melton, Jason Melton and Kevin Melton; great-grandchildren, Savannah Morris, Skyler Vandiver, Hayden Vandiver, Haley Vandiver, Harley Melton, Caribeth Melton and Courtney Melton; two great-great-grandchildren, Hannah Morris and Briley Morris; sister, Janie Oats; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Melton; daughter, Claire Marie Melton; granddaughter, Elizabeth Diane Melton; parents, William and Lela King; sisters, Verla Mae Yocum, Mildred Stiles and Maggie Jean Garrett; and brothers, Buddy King and Junior King.
