Terry Wayne Bolton has announced his candidacy for County Commissioner, District 2.

He was born and raised in Franklin County and has been married to Carol Henson (Prince) for 53 years. They are blessed with two sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Terry retired in 2006 from iron work, and Carol retired from the Franklin County Department of Resources in 2007. Terry will be running on the Democratic Ticket, but he believes the problems are the same for both parties.

Terry is a member of the First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, Franklin County Shrine Club and the Franklin County Cattlemen’s Association. He supports education and has attended the Franklin County Commission meetings for the past three years and is familiar with the problems facing the citizens of the county.

Terry will be able to give the job his undivided attention for the future of Franklin County.
