Sally Ann Brazile Bates

Sally Ann Brazile Bates, 67, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 at NMMC. She was born Jan. 8, 1948 to Marvin and Lizzie Brazile. She was a homemaker.

Services will be Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are her husband, Bobby Bates of Red Bay; four children: Tommy Bates, Eric Bates, Greg Bates and Sharon Griffith; three grandsons: Chance Griffith, Hunter Griffith and Dakota Bates; two sisters: Lori Greffey and husband Joe and Cathy Brazile; three brothers:Gary Brazile and wife Rose, Jerry Brazile and Joey Brazile and wife Cathy; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two aunts:Thelma Lloyd and Jimmie West.

Pallbearers will be Jason Coker, Eric Bates, Greg Bates, Scotty Hardin, Brent Robinson and Glenn Griffith. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons: Chance Griffith, Hunter Griffith and Dakota Bates.

Visitation was Monday, Oct. 5, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
