Charles “Buster” Elzie Lowery

Charles “Buster” Elzie Lowery, age 88, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his residence.

Buster was a loving husband and a wonderful dad and papa who will be missed by all who knew him.

The visitation was 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel.  Bro. Jeff Fleming officiated the funeral.  Burial was at Tharptown Cemetery.

He is survived by wife of 27 years, Mary Lynn Demastus Lowery; children, Lottie Coan (husband, Doug), Sue Elliott (husband, Rex), Terry Demastus (wife, Sheila), Tom Demastus (wife, Kim), Paul Demastus (wife, Stacey); special buddy, Brayden Hill; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Lowery; parents, Arthur & Sarah Lowery; brother & sisters; and great-granddaugher, Ashley Murray.

The pallbearers will be Austin Demastus, Eric Demastus, Jeff Murray, Hunter Murray, Glen Roberson, and Gage Roberson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice, Tangy Jackson, and Dr. Morrow for the love and care shown towards our family.
