RMS art students rack up awards

RMS art students Angelina Juan, Sydney Bowling, Emily Peters, Jessica Gonzalez, and Nichole Putman recently took home awards from the 2015 Artistic Renderings of Youth tri-county competition held at the Kennedy-Douglas Center for the Arts in Florence, Ala. Winners for Division I were: Nichole Putman-Best of Show, Jessica Gonzalez-first place, Emily Peters-third place, and Sydney Bowling-honorable mention. The RMS art department will host their annual art show Thursday, May 7 at the RMS media center from 5:30-7 p.m.
