The Belgreen High School Envirothon Team won first place in the 2015 Franklin County Envirothon competition hosted by the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Russellville High School finished in second place, and Red Bay High School rounded out the field at third.

The State Competition will be held later in April. Presentation and test scores were great this year, according to officials. Should one of the teams win the State Competition they will advance to the National level competition in July and August this summer.
