Lillie Mae Uptain, age 105, Florence, passed away March 27, 2015.

The visitation was Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Bethsaida Missionary Baptist Church followed by funeral service at the church with Bro. James Segars and Bro. Tony Gasaway officiating. Burial was in Adjoining Cemetery.

Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.

Mrs. Uptain was a homemaker and the oldest member of Bethsaida Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jessie Rikard; husband, Rev. Wiley Uptain; children, Marilyne Uptain, Terry Ray, and infant son; nine siblings,  grandchildren, Paul Ray Uptain, Nancy Shepler; son-in-law  Dr. Kenneth Landers.

She is survived by daughter, Venelle Smith and husband Doug; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 22  great  great grandchildren.
