Third-ranked Hubbertville completed a perfect regular season with a victory over Tharptown Thursday night.

The Lions jumped out to a 28-0 lead after one quarter and were never threatened as Tharptown (2-8) concluded its season.

Trailing 35-0, the Wildcats finally got on the scoreboard when Heath Hatton hit Mike Rosson for a seven-yard scoring play to trim the margin to 35-7 at halftime.

Tharptown scored again in the third quarter, this time on an eight-yard run by Hatton to make it 41-12.

Hatton added a four-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter. Shawn Hines’ extra point kick made the final score 41-19.
