Cattlemen promoting beef

Members of the Franklin County Cattlemen’s Association will be at local restaurants in the coming weeks to promote National Beef Month and the beef and cattle industry.

Cattlemen will be set up at 43 Grill in Russellville on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., and at 4th Street Grill in Red Bay on Friday, Oct. 24, from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.

“These are two of the primary steakhouses in our county, and we just want to greet their customers and be on hand to give positive information about beef and the beef and cattle industry,” Franklin County Cattlemen vice-president Orland Britnell said.

“We want to invite everyone out to these restaurants on these nights for a good steak and a chance to support local businesses.”
