Debbie K. Roberts, 59, died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Russellville, and was a homemaker and family caretaker. She was a member of CalvaryBaptistChurch, Tremont, Miss., and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Services were Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Donald Raper and Bro. Gerome Key officiating. Burial was in ItawambaMemorialGarden, Fulton, Miss.

Survivors are her husband, Danny Roberts, RedBay; one daughter, Melinda Roberts, RedBay; one sister, Brenda Clements, Tremont, Miss; a nephew raised as a son, Steven Clements and a host of other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Scott and Ozell Quinn Scott; a sister, Patsy Massey; her father-in-law, Noel Roberts; and a son-in-law, Dean Buffington.

Pallbearers were Steven Clements, Rusty Buffington, Ricky Roberts, Jackie Roberts, Mike Davis, Mike Smith, Robbie McCrory and Bill Kimmins.

Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay, and until service time on Sunday.
