Estelle Scott Landers, a retired investigator in the Memphis office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, died on July 3, 2014, in Gallatin, Tenn.

She is survived by her grandsons, Cody Landers and Amado Cordero of Anchorage, Alaska; and was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Arlene Byars Scott and her son, Mark Landers.

Born on January 10, 1945, she was a graduate of Russellville High School and Florence State University in Florence. After living most of her adult life in Memphis, she moved to Anchorage to be with her son’s family.  The last three years, she lived in Gallatin.

Graveside services will be August 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville.
