Alvie Manuel Miller, 78, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 13, 1935 in Alabama. He was retired as a driver for Tiffin Motor Homes after 33 years. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy.

Services were Saturday, May 10, at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, Golden, Miss. with Bro. Dean Allen and Bro. Erik Miller officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery,

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Iva Miller, Vina; one son, Royce Miller and wife, Joyce, Vina; one daughter, Wanda Cleveland and husband, Jackie, Montgomery; one brother, Wayne Miller and wife, Shirley, Vina; one sister, Lillian Holland, West Point, Miss.; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Cleveland and wife, Stefanie, Erik Miller and wife, Kayla, Jeremy Cleveland and wife, Candace, Amanda Adams and husband, Johnny, and five great-grandchildren, Jonathon Cleveland, Jeriah Cleveland, Alexis Adams, Brycen Adams and Cruise Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Wilcie Miller and a daughter, Carolyn Miller.

Pallbearers were Wayne Emerson, Kenny Holland, Greg Burgett, Mac Brewer, Johnny Adams and Alvie Brewer.

Visitation was Friday, May 9, at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy and continue until service time on Saturday.
