Anthony Ray “Short Dog” Gann McKinney

Anthony Ray “Short Dog” Gann McKinney, 40, Russellville, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at his residence.

The visitation was on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral was on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Woodrow Taylor officiating. Burial was at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He is survived by his children, BreAnna Gann Prestage and husband, John, Blake Gann, Makaila Gann, Kattie Gann; a special grandchild on the way; fiancé, Beth Overton; mother, Kathy McKinney; sisters, Terri Bolton and husband, Randy, Amy Reeves and husband, Patrick; sister-in-law, Caroline Riddle; grandmother, Nellie McKinney; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and special cousin, Tim Vandiver.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie Ray McKinney; brother, Jeremy McKinney; grandparents, Sylvester and Verlon Gann, and Lander McKinney.

His pallbearers were Billy Hawkins, Champ Hawkins, Jason Thomas, James Thomas, Danny Keenum, and Chris Ergle.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Spry Memorial Chapel for caring for our family.
