Eloise Brooks Hosey, 82, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Golden Living Center, Birmingham. She was born June 1, 1931 in Vina and was a restaurant owner.

Funeral services were on Friday, March 28, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay. Burial was in Old Burleson Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are one son, Glenn Hosey and wife, Kathy, of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Phillip Hosey and Bryan Hosey; two step-grandchildren, Wendy Grimes Whitson and Jason Grimes; and five great-grandchildren, Kalei Whitson, Kendell Hosey, Mason Hosey, Josie Grimes and Kylie Hosey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lee Hosey; and her parents, Frank Brooks and Ella Cooper Brooks.

Visitation was on Friday, March 28, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
