Martha Jean Majors, 75, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born September 28, 1938 in Arkansas and was a faithful member of Burnout Missionary Baptist Church for 45 years. She was retired from Wrangler. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Services were Saturday, March 8, at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Stanford officiating. Burial was in Burnout Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are one daughter, Cindy Lee, and husband, Don Lee, of Vina; one brother, Terry Humphres and wife, Pam, of Vina; grandson, Lance Mansell and wife, Deanna, of Shelbyville, Tenn.; great-grandson, Dexter Mansell, of Shelbyville, Tenn.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rube and Ethel Humphres; her husband of 54 years, Curtis Majors; a sister, Ruby Horton; a brother, Tom Humphres; and a granddaughter, Ashley Mansell Sartain.

Visitation was on Saturday, March 8, at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church.
