Beverly Raburn Rye, age 66, Smithville, Miss., passed away Sunday, Mar. 2, 2014 at Brookwood Medical Center. She was born in Hamilton on Thursday, Jan. 29, 1948 to James Bennie and Carrie Bernice Raburn.

Visitation was Friday, Mar. 7, 2014. The service was Saturday, Mar. 8, 2014 at Marion County Funeral Home with Levi Sides officiating. Burial was in Hamilton Memory Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Bennie and Carrie Bernice Raburn; Grandparents; brother, Billy Joe Raburn; sister, Beatrice Miller, two nephews.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Burnie Rye, Smithville Miss.; sisters, Betty Ritch, N.C., Barbara Rea and husband, Marshall, Hamilton, Brenda Abramson, Florence, Burldean Streetman and husband, Darryl, Phil Campbell; mother-in-law, Thelma Rye; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
