Colbert Heights outscores Phil Campbell in area play

The Colbert Heights Wildcats defeated the Phil Campbell Bobcats 56-52 on Dec. 10 in area play.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 23-14 lead in the first half. The Bobcats, however, made a run in the third quarter closing the gap to 34-31.

Both teams matched each other point-for-point in a high scoring fourth quarter leading to the Wildcat win.

Bobcats senior Colton Vickery led all scorers with 17 points.  Also in double figures was Skyler Tackett with 12 points and Bailey Motes with 10 points.

Also scoring for the Bobcats were Tommy Reed (3), Nathan Duncan (2), and Ryan Saint (2).

Kaleb Suggs led Colbert Heights with 15 points.
