Tharptown girls cruise past Phillips

The Tharptown Lady Wildcats easily upended area rival Phillips last Tuesday evening in 67-21 win.

The Wildcats only led by eight at the end of the first quarter but the Wildcats would outscore the Bears 47-8 in the second and third quarters to ice the game.

All players scored for the Lady Wildcats.

Seniors Kamri Sears led the team with 18 points followed by Danielle Creasy who racked up 11 points for Tharptown.

Katlyn Vandiver added nine points, Brook Daniel and Kathy Alfaro added eight points each, Savannah Hamilton scored seven points and Haley Malone scored six points.

The Lady Wildcats will take on the Belgreen Lady Bulldogs on Friday at Belgreen.
