Charlie Denford Marbutt, 85, Russellville, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, at Russellville Hospital.

He proudly served his country in the Army during World War II where he received the Army of Occupation Medal, the WWII Occupation Medal, and the WWII Victory Medal.

Funeral services were Monday, June 24, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel with military honors. Officiating at the service was Bro. Dennis Stewart and Bro. Jeff Fleming. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, Phil Campbell.

He is survived by his wife, Marie (Black) Marbutt; children, Glenda Litchford, Janet Tracey; grandchildren, Gerald, Paul, Jason, Daniel, and Marc; great-grandchildren, Suzie, Isabella, Canaan, Ariel, Colvin; great-great-grandchildren, Draven and Wylie; and host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Martha Marbutt; brothers, Presley Marbutt, George Marbutt, JD Marbutt, Edwin Marbutt and Orbie Marbutt.
