Vernie Earline Byrd, 83, Russellville, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Russellville Hospital.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She was preceded in death by parents, Felix and Eva McNatt Byrd; sisters, Excellia Byrd Gay, Louvellia Byrd Hyde, Bernice Byrd Sockwell; brother, Audry Lee Byrd; and nephew, Ray Hyde.

She is survived by her remaining sister, Nettie Faye Bendall and husband, John; nieces, Peggy Innocenti, Emogene Baker, Shirley King, Anita Coffman and Diane Denson.

The pallbearers were Neal King, Freed Baker, Ronnie Hovater, Bryce McNatt and Lonnie Paul Pounders.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kevin Kelly, the nurses and staff of Terrace Manor Nursing Home for the love and care shown to our family.
