Johnie W. Miller, 71, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Generations of Red Bay.

He was born July 6, 1941, in Marion County and had worked in logging for more than 50 years.

Services were Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery.

Survivors are one son, Jonathon Deshun Miller and wife, Christina, Red Bay; one daughter, Rozanna Hester, Hamilton; four grandchildren, Alexandria Grace Miller, Whitney Clingan, Colby Hester and Dakota Hester; one great-grandchild, Trace River Flippo; one sister, Geraldine Caldwell, Red Bay; three brothers, Essra Miller and wife, Loretta, Red Bay, Thomas Miller and wife, Shelia, and J.T. Miller and wife, Debra, all of Vina; half brother, Greg Miller and wife, Nonnie, Russellville, and half-sister, Misty Miller, Vina, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Miller and Lillie Emerson Miller.

Pallbearers were Wesley Miller, John Miller, Lee Miller, J.R. Miller, Colby Hester and Bert Bostick.
