Melissa Kay Allen Newell, 38, of Phil Campbell, died Thursday March 14, 2013, at Russellville Hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville with Bro. Darryl Whitehead officiating. Interment was in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Josh Wilson, Josh Pinkard, Tony Smith, Anthony Foster, Chris Butler and Ricky Hall.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dylan Samuel Newell; parents, Johnny Satas and Kathy Dean Allen; brother, Jimmy Ray Carroll; grandparents, Clois and Johnnie Allen, Alex and Elizabeth Satas.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Kirk Russell Newell; sister and brothers, Felicia Dawn Allen, Johnny Satas, Billy Satas; uncles and aunts, Victor Satas, Maria Froga, Leo Satas, Nijole Grafer, Adele Keeton, Anthony Satas, Betty Trapp, Robert Allen, Millie Allen, Vickie Trapp; nephew and niece, Blayne Koonce, Danica Foster.
