Cherie Robinson, 55, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at ECM Hospital.

Mrs. Robinson was a native of Birmingham, but had lived in Russellville for the past 37 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church, Russellville. She was employed with the Alabama Department of Transportation and was a member of the Franklin County Rescue Squad for the past 26 years.

The graveside service will be Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville, with burial immediately after. Officiating will be Richard Parker and Bert Fowler. The family will receive friends at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Survivors include mother, Jo Ann Gray, Russellville; daughter, Kimberly Gray Robinson, Russellville; sister, Melissa Thompson and husband, Rex, Selma; sister-and brother-in-law, Beverly and Jerry Fuller, Russellville; niece, Allison Thompson; nephews, Chris Fuller and wife, Bethany, Brad Fuller and wife, Shana; great-nieces and nephews, Aidan, Lucas, Lily and Riley.

She was preceded in death by husband, Stephen Douglas Robinson; and father, W.H. (Bill) Gray.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to your favorite charity.
