Elaine Johnson, 67, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Helen Keller Hospital.
She was born Feb. 23, 1945, in Haleyville and had been an employee at Golden Manufacturing.
Services were Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Preacher Pearl Shelton officiating. Burial was in Spruce Pine Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, Gary Johnson, Vina; son, Steve Brown and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Lisa Cox, Angela Cox, Elizabeth Cox, Sammy Brown and Andrew Brown; great-grandchildren, Brody Cox and Micheal Cox and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Annie McMahan, and a son, Micheal Cox.
Pallbearers were Danny Joe Hacker, Andrew Brown, Marcus Reese, Jeff Hargett, Daniel Lindley, Gregory Johnson, Boone McBeal and Justin Brandon.
