Three arrested on drug charges

Three Franklin County residents were arrested on drug charges after officers discovered marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia in the residence where they were staying.
William Littleton, 25, 4168 Franklin 36, Russellville, was arrested for first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in morphine and a probation violation.
Shawn Hall, 18, 4168 Franklin 36, Russellville, was arrested for first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree receiving stolen property.
Rose Hall, 42, 4168 Franklin 36, Russellville, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and trafficking in morphine.
According to Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver, the sheriff’s office received a call on Friday that Littleton was wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s because he had a felony probation violation warrant issued against him.
Oliver said the U.S. Marshals had tracked Littleton to a residence on Franklin 36 in Russellville and asked the FCSO to assist them in his apprehension.
Oliver said once deputies arrived at the residence, they were able to locate Littleton in a back bedroom where they also found a large bag of marijuana and two shotguns that were in plain view.
“When the deputies discovered the marijuana, they obtained permission from Rose Hall, who rented the residence, to search the rest of the home,” Oliver said.
“Once she gave consent, the deputies went back to the back bedroom and, during the process of the search, they found another large quantity of marijuana along with pills and cocaine that were bagged for resale, and several hundred dollars in cash, which were all seized.”
Oliver said they later discovered one of the shotguns in the bedroom was also listed as stolen property out of the Franklin County jurisdiction as well.
“After deputies spoke to Ms. Hall, it was determined her son, Shawn Hall, resided in the back bedroom where the gun and marijuana were found, along with drug paraphernalia including pipes, scales, and baggies used for package and resale,” Oliver said.
“After questioning both Rose and Shawn Hall and Littleton, no one claimed ownership or knowledge of any of the drugs, so all suspects were charged and transported to the county jail.”
At press time, Littleton was still in custody without bail. Rose Hall and Shawn Hall were currently awaiting bond.
Oliver said additional charges in this case could still be pending.
