Thomas Richard Garrett, Sr., 52, Phil Campbell, passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service was Bro. Jim Poss. Burial was in King Cemetery, Leighton.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Darlene Garrett; children, Misty Michelle Garrison, Mary Ann Chaney, Thomas Richard Garrett, Jr., James Daniel Garrett; grandchildren, Cassie, Summer, Evean, Haley, Matthew, and Victoria; brothers, Terry Wayne Garrett, Carl Eugene Garrett; sister, Patricia Ann Lane; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Shelia Ann Garrett; adopted son, Matthew Garrett; parents, Billy James and Mary Grace Garrett; and his grandparents.
