Marilyn Walker Bradford, 69, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Bradford was a native of Birmingham, but had lived in Russellville for the past 40 years. She was a member of Russellville First United Methodist Church and was retired from Russellville City Schools as a teacher’s aide.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Russellville First United Methodist Church with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Officiating will be Bo Lloyd and Clint Busler. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.

Survivors include children, Michele Stephenson and husband, Trent, Russellville, Roger Bradford, Florence, Phillip Bradford and wife, Stefany, Russellville; brothers, E.K. (Buddy) Walker, Atlanta, Ga., James A. (Jimmy) Walker, Birmingham; grandchildren, Kayla Stephens, Shelby Stephens, Morgan Bradford, Hannah Bradford, Stetson Borden, Haley Stephenson, Russ Stephenson; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, E.K., Sr. and Frances Walker.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or First United Methodist Church of Russellville.
