John C. “Junior” Boyd, Jr.

John C. “Junior” Boyd, Jr., 84, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at Red Bay Hospital. He was a native of Alabama and was an employee of Johns Manville in the Brake Department for 37 years.

Memorial services were Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Red Bay Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Jerome Key officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery.

He is survived by four children, Alan Boyd and his wife, Janette, Phoelicia Jackson and her husband, Lloyd, Jolene Enis and her husband, Kenneth, and Annette Rogers, all of Red Bay; a brother-in-law, Walter Epps, Red Bay; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Bobbie Rose Boyd and Vive Boyd, a son-in-law, David Rogers, three brothers, Tommy Boyd, Omie Boyd and Ray Boyd and two sisters, Virginia Fancher and Fern Epps.
