Roy Calvin Cothrum, 57, of Russellville, Ala. passed away Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Cothrum lived all his life in Franklin County.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Dewayne Satterwhite, Carl James and Mark Daniel officiating.  Burial will follow in Gray Rock Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by children, Larry Cothrum and wife, Sabrina, of Russellville, Joanie Hall and husband, Brett, of Russellville, Brandon Cothrum, of Phil Campbell, Faith James and husband, Tyler, of Phil Campbell; sisters, Carolyn Trapp, of Muscle Shoals, Sherlene Lee, of Russellville, Elene Whitehead, of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Brandon Cothrum, Braden Hall, Brooklyn Hall, Addi James; step-grandchildren, Austin Tompkins, Courtney Tompkins; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gary Cummings, Patrick Trapp, Mark Bass, Josh Sutherland, and Brandon Cothrum.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Gladys Cothrum; and brother, Ralph Cothrum.
