L.J. Clark

L.J. Clark, 71, of Machesney, Pa., died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center after a long illness. He was born January 30, 1939 in Phil Campbell to Jack and Icy Mae Clark. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and later worked in the printing industry at Bennett and later at Rock Valley Packaging.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Clark; daughter, Michele smith and husband, Shawn; grandchildren, Ryen and Grace Smith; brother, Virgil Clark, and wife, Marie; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Jesse Clark.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 29 at Sunset Funeral Home in Rockford, Ill. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Jerry Frame

Jerry Frame, 73, of Red Bay, died Saturday, April 3 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born January 28, 1937 in Illinois to James and Ruth Phillips Frame. He received a B.S. degree in Forestry from Michigan State University and retired from the Tenneesee Pulp and Paper Company as Woodland’s Manager after 37 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Red Bay and the Red Bay Lion’s Club. He also an active member of the Alabama Emmaus Community, and served in the National Guard for four years.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 with Rev. Dallas Culver, Rev. Mike Sparks, and Bro. Jeff Fleming officiating. Burial was in the Red Bay City Cemetery.
Mr. Frame is survived by sons, Scott Frame and wife, Martha, of Red Bay, and Jeff Frame, and wife, Regina, of Lexington, S.C.; grandchildren, Chris Frame and Ashley Frame, both of Red Bay, Sabrina Barnett and Amanda Ledbetter, both of Florence, and Kayla Wilson of Tishomingo, Miss.; great-grandchildren, Tyler Barnett and Brentyn Lancaster, both of Florence.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Frame on March 7, 2010.
Pallbearers for the service include David Tiffin, Ace Howe, Kelly Moore, Brooke Davis, Hal Keeton, and Donnie Roberts. Honorary pallbearers include Dale Jeffreys, Anthony Pounds, Joey Allen, Bill Crutchfield, Elliott Gordon, Ken Farr and Paul Huffman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Red Bay.
Duane Rhea

Duane “Chainsaw” Rhea, 77, of Phil Campbell, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Russellville Hospital. He enjoyed the outdoors and farming. He was an avid Auburn fan and a gardener.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in the Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Wayne Lawler. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by children, Larry Rhea and friend, Legina Davis, Barry Rhea and wife, Beth, Mitch Rhea and wife, Crystal, Rhonda Moore and friend, Derek Weaver; grandchildren, Joshlyn Avery, Tristian, Bethany, Shannon, Derek, Erica, Jessie, Anna; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Dalton, Isabella; sisters, Margie Parnell, Janie Alexander, and husband, Robert, Patsy Bailey, Stella Ventrini; brother, Duke Rhea, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Rhea; parents, Tommy and Pearlene Rhea; brothers, James Rhea, Tommy Rhea, Jr.; sister, Sis Campbell; grandsons, Tyler Rhea and Hunter Moore.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Clara Brown

Clara Dimple Brown, 75, of Russellville, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 at Russellville Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, April 5, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mark Daniel officiating. Burial was in the Vandiver Hollow Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Brown Fuller; granddaughter, Lilly Claire Fuller; sister-in-law, Dorothy Williams and husband, Tommy; brother-in-law, Kenneth Brown and wife, sue; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brown; parents, James Newton and Lillian Parrish; sister, Joy Lindsey; brother, James Parrish.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Burns Nursing Home for all the love and care given for the past three years. A special thanks also goes out to Dr. Kevin Kelly and all the second floor and ICU nurses at Russellville Hospital.
Eva Parker

Eva Mae Parker, 65, of Hodges, died Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Red Bay Hospital. She was born December 1, 1944 to Elzie and Delma Coates Cantrell. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Hamilton Funeral Home with David Rushlow. Burial will be in the Halltown Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Parker Scott of Hodges, and Misty Parker Grissom of Hackleburg; step-children, Douglas Parker of Hamilton, Ernest Parker of Decatur, Sue Umpress of Red Bay, and Teresa Raper of Hodges; brothers, Royce Cantrell of Vernon, Miss., Bobby Cantrell of Vina, and Fray Cantrell of Hodges; sisters, Denise Rogers of Vina. and Chestine Cantrell of Kenosha, Wi.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Luther Parker.
Stella L. Prince

Stella Louise Prince, 69, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Sunday, April, 4, 2010, at Burns Nursing Home.
Mrs. Prince was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Zane Rolling officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin L. Prince, Russellville; children, Wesley Priest, Russellville, Tresia Priest, Muscle Shoals, Wanda James, Birmingham, and Paul O. Prince, Russellville; brother, Jerry W. King, Huntsville; sisters, Betty Mae Mills, Phil Campbell and Barbara Ann Hooker, Mississippi; grandchildlren, Hannah Prince, Emma Prince, Bradley Baker, Syler Prince, and Jacob Prince; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lona King.
Weltha E. Pace

Weltha Estella Morgan Pace, 94, of Haleyville, Ala., passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Russellville Health Care.
Mrs. Pace was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Haleyville, Ala. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Bro. Charles James and Bro. Merrell Potter. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Russellville, Ala. Visitation was Monday, April 5, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.
She is survived by her children Allen Hugh Pace (Nella), East Franklin, Demaris Jones (Billy), Russellville, Delona Lipscomb (Joe), Moulton, Lila Glenn, Haleyville, Larry Pace (Brenda), Hamilton, and Elaine McKissack (Ray), Hendersonville, Tenn; brother, Ervin “Fat” Morgan, Phil Campbell; sister, Era Mae “Toodler” Clark, Phil Campbell; seventeen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ervin Pace and her daughter, Delois “Punk” pace.
