Arrie Onece Frazier, 75, of Phil Campbell, passed away April 4, 2007 at Russellville Hospital. Funeral services will be held April 7 at 1 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Reverend Hollis Boyd will officiate.
Survivors include her husband, Homer Frazier; sons, Jerry Frazier of Phil Campbell, Phillip Frazier of New Port Richey, Fla. and Mike Frazier of Colon, Mi.; daughters, Linda Stanford and Barbara Frazier of Phil Campbell; brother, Wallace Hodge of Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Cindy (Eric) Tice, Mike Frazier, John (Lee Ann) Stanford, Jessie (Monica) Stanford, Holly (Roberto) Frazier, Pamela Pounders, Jeramie (Billie) Stanford, Melanie (Zach) Frazier Cummings, Shawna Patrick, Nikki and Misty Frazier; great-grandchildren, Ashley Nix, Brianna Frazier, Roberto Davis, Haleigh Addison, Austin Stanford, Colby Pounders, Breela Stanford, Tyler Morgis, Isabella Frazier, Sophie Tice, Olivia Frazier, Harrison Cummings, John Maxwell Stanford and Ciyle Stanford.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Trannie Hodge, a son, Larry Keith Frazier and a grandson, Shane Frazier.

Funeral Services will be held today, April 6, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Akins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery of Phil Campbell.
She is survived by her sons, James Frederick (Ada) Murray of Phil Campbell, Richard Lee (Amanda) Murray of Spruce Pine and Robert Lee Eaves of Phil Campbell; daughter, Donna Kay (Van) Baker of Phil Campbell; brothers, Jerry Johnson of Littleville, John Earl (Corinne) Johnson of Haleyville; grandchildren, Kristy Davis, Cassy Baker, Kayla Baker, Mason Murray, Kylie Murray, Amber Eaves, Chachi Hughes and T.J. and Jacob Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Della Johnson; daughter, Linda Sue Murray; brothers, Wayne Johnson, David Johnson, Bill Johnson, Sam Johnson, Melvin Johnson and sister, Annie Jo Bates.

Mildred A. Jackson, 91, of Phil Campbell died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services were held April 5, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Jackie Richardson and Shawn Wallace officiating.
Burial followed in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Jane Jackson of Phil Campbell; brother, J.M. Parrish of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Jeanell Oliver, of Phil Campbell; grandson, Steven Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jackson was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of the Church of Christ. Pallbearers were Randall Oliver, Dan Cottrell, Jon Smith, Wallace Bragwell, Danny Brown and Anthony Barnett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas L. Jackson; son, Larry N. Jackson and parents, Felix and Idella Parrish.

Martha Fay (Brown) Hill, 58, of Hackleburg died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with Bryan Sutton and Hosea Smith officiating.
Burial followed in the Vandiver Hollow Cemetery in Tuscumbia.
Survivors include her son, Rubert (Burt) Leon Hill, II of Hackleburg; daughter, Nina Mosha Hill, of Hackleburg; brother, Kenneth Brown of Colbert Heights; sister, Dorothy Hanback, of Tuscumbia; granddaughter, Tuesday Hill; grandson, Ryan Hill and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers were Chris Garner, Brad Fuller, David Hines, Matt Brown, Tyler Hines and Carl Hines.
Honorary Pallbearers were Keith Bullington, Ray McCarley, Brian Brown, Kenneth Brown, Ken Morris, Tim Demorse, Joel Scott and Tommy Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leon Hill; father, Lois Brown; Mother, Grace Brown and brothers, Billy Joe Brown, Thomas Brown, J.W. Brown and Dewey Brown.

Jimmy Dewayne Franks, 37, of Russellville passed away Tuesday, April 3 at ECM Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at Tharptown Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Bro. Chip Martin and Bro. Andy Cansler officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Hallmark Franks; children, Eden and Ella Franks; parents, Jim and Ann Bailey Franks; sister, Angela (Scott) Franks Hargett; grandmother, Leora Bailey; father and mother-in-law, Melvin and Betty Hallmark; brother-in-law, Allan (DeAnn) Hallmark; special uncle and aunt, Robert and Doris Bailey; nieces and nephews, Cheyenne Smith, Auburn and Bailey Hargett, Lia and Lawson Hallmark.
He was a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, daddy, son, brother, grandson and friend. He worked for 12 years as a dispatcher for Littleville Police Department and eight years in the refrigeration department at Gold Kist. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Haggstromand the staff at ECM Hospital, fifth floor, West – especially nurses Rene, Flo and Christy.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.

Frances Anne Borden Nichols, 70, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007.
Funeral services will be held today, April 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James McCullar officiating. Interment will follow in Ramsey Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. David Borden, Sr. and Anna Lee Grisham Borden King; brothers, James Edmer David Borden, Sr. and Kenneth Franklin Borden; grandson, John Adam Nichols; niece, Pamela Sue Whitaker Russell and nephew, Steven Borden.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Neal Marshall Nichols, Sr.; daughter, Sandra Anne Nichols Fortner, of Horn Lake, MS; sons, Neal Marshall (Kaye) Nichols, Jr., Sydney Christopher (Dennette) Nichols, Randall Steven (Pam) Nichols and Joseph Patrick "Skip" Nichols, all of Russellville; grandchildren, Neal Marshall (Tiffany) Nichols, III, Mellissa Lynne Vandervort, Bradley Duane Scott Nichols, Rachel Ann Nichols (Rick) Franks, Stephanie Ann Fortner, Daniel Steven Nichols, Christopher Aaron (Jessica) Nichols and Hanna Abigail Nichols; great-grandchildren Kristina Vandervort, Hailey Vandervort, Maggie Franks, Mea Beth Franks, Caleb Nichols, Bella Nichols and Tori-Anne Fortner and her adopted family, David and Lori Cuevas and Hope and Faith Cuevas; one brother, William Gerald Smith (JoAnn) Borden; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was retired from HD Lee and operated a home day care for many years. She was always a servant and did what she could to help others. She worked closely for many years with little league, organized the first Russellville Pee-Wee Association and worked with many other children's organizations.
She was a member of Duncan Creek Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years, also serving as church secretary.
She served on the Executive Board of the Franklin County Baptist Association, served two terms on the Russellville Library Board, was appointed by and served on the Governor's Committee for Advocates of Child Welfare, which established the guidelines for home day cares in Alabama.
She was Past Worthy Matron of Russellville Chapter 256 of the Order of the Eastern Star and Charter Member and President of the Seekers of the Past, which organized and founded, and raises funds to operate the Franklin County Archives and Research Center. She regularly volunteered in local events for the American Cancer Society and many other charitable causes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Franklin County Archives and Research Center at 300 East Limestone, Russellville, AL 35653 or to the American Cancer Society.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Keith Morrow, Northwest Home Health and Good Samaritan Hospice for their invaluable assistance in this trying time.
